Join us as we take a journey between the worlds on Leap Day 2008.
Show us what your journey looks like, what the term means to you:
"Leaping Man - Portals Between the Worlds"; whether it is cultural,
societal, spiritual, physical, emotional or any other paradigms. Come
see what other worlds are beyond the Portals, step through gateways to
whole new vistas and scratch your curiosity about the
similarities/differences between other genres of art, music and dance.
We'll provide the smörgåsbord of delights, all we ask is that you
bring an open mind and an open heart - to be the Adventurous Fool for
an evening.
7-9pm We're honored, for a one night only gallery showing, to present:
Ian Welling's art and dj tones for the last time before he moves it
all to California.
8-9p Dance performances by Good and Torch
9-10p Slam Poetry, with poets from Denver's National Slam Team.
10p - 12midnight - Live Bands!
10 - 10:45 TBA
10:45-11:00 - Experimental noise performance by Chris Fortin
11pm - mid Sympathy F (Alternative rock)
12m - 1am DJ Glantern (Breaks)
1am - 2am DJ Schmid-E (Progressive House)
2am - 3am DJ Mukti (Psytrance)
3am - 4am DJ Chester (Drum and Bass)
4am - 5am DJ Jimmy Dread (GOA Trance)
We have installation artists, Zach painting throughout the night,
dancing performances and anything you guys feel like contributing
through the night.
Please BYOB, there will only be coolers of water provided.
We're striving to be green so this is a Leave No Trace event- please
take back home with you what you bring.
